  • Almost everywhere you can pay by card, but for markets and taxis, we recommend having cash – EUR, GBP, or TRY (for markets). There are plenty of exchange offices here, and the rates are very similar, almost identical. It’s better to use local exchange offices than to exchange money off the island.
  • Download offline maps for traveling around the island.
  • We recommend activating a data and calling package with your operator for worldwide use, or purchasing an E-sim, such as from Airalo.
  • Transfer to and from Larnaca Airport costs around 85-100 EUR per trip, depending on your accommodation location – Transfers are usually in Mercedes cars and can accommodate up to 7 people.
  • Car rental is available here during the season for about 35 EUR per day.
  • The facilities usually offer (and include in the rental price) an outdoor and indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. Massages can be ordered for an additional fee.
  • The apartments are equipped with a TV, usually with Netflix.
  • Wifi is available everywhere as a standard.
  • For swimming in the sea, it’s good (but not necessary) to wear water shoes.
  • If you need to address any issues with the apartments, you can contact the facility management directly at the office on-site or reach out to us or the apartment owners.
  • On the island, especially during the high season, power outages sometimes occur due to electricity shortages. These outages typically last around 2-4 hours.
